His first solo album « Face To Face » sold over 5 million copies and his song «African Queen» has been featured as one of the soundtracks of a movie called Phat Girlz starred by the American entertainer Mo’nique.
His popularity is not restricted at all to his homeland Nigeria. 2face has held concerts all over Africa provoking the same hysteria everywhere he goes from South Africa to Kenya or Senegal.
2face has also collaborated with a variety of international stars such as Wyclef Jean whith whom he recorded the «Proud to be African» to Beenie Man.
Eventhough he is a Rnb singer, he hails Reggae and the likes of Bob Marley to be his main influence. That mixture of genres is probably the reason for his unique style and voice.
